Mission statement: To guide those suffering from a substance use disorder from active addiction to quality recovery that encompasses social, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
If you or someone you know is struggling with a substance use disorder, Sunrise Centre is here to support you in your healing journey. Through individualized, person-centered care our team will offer compassionate support, treatment, and resources to help you build a life in recovery and grow into a healthier version of yourself.
Accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities Sunrise Centre, Inc. a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization is licensed by the State of Michigan for substance use disorder treatment.

About Us
Sunrise Centre of Alpena MI, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has been providing services to individuals impacted by addiction since the early 1970s. Sunrise Centre is a 41-bed residential treatment facility serving individuals from across the state with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Sunrise Centre offers a continuum of care to individuals with substance use and co-occurring conditions including detoxification, inpatient treatment services, case management, peer recovery coaching, early intervention, and outpatient treatment services. We host recovery support group meetings, Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, open to the public 7 days per week.
